Hidden in the back alleys is a lovely pub called the Horse and groom, there are as many dogs as there are people inside. There is even a dog menu available with snacks, meals and doggie drinks.

As the only royal harbour in the country it's great that it's dog friendly with all the great restaurants on and round it, it also has miles of dog friendly beach.

I moved to this wonderfully dog friendly seaside town with my 2 dogs and all of our lives no coincidence perfectly together! They never need to be left at home at the risk of being turned away. You are often encouraged to come in with your dog more so than without!

Because so many establishments are dog friendly, there are two beaches close by that allow dogs on them all year round, great walks including cliff walks and two beautiful parks.

I am voting for Ramsgate because it’s such a friendly place and dogs are welcome in most cafes and bars, especially along the sea front where we are regular visitors to Enoteca, you get a warm welcome from the staff and it has a lovely view of our Royal harbour.

We love visiting ramsgate with to dog as there's some shops you can take you dogs in and some pubs and food good places also the dog loves a doggy cupcake from the bakery too 😋

We inherited an old dog and so it some adjustment to our lifestyle, but Ramsgate is great . Always plenty of places to go , always a welcome, bowl of water and a biscuit. Happy dog, happy owners

I live in Ramsgate & everyone welcomes the dogs and their owners . It adds to the community that we have here . All local business should be congratulated for their welcome to the dogs of this town . But especially for the lookout cafe who have for years left dog bowls outside

Dogs are welcome in cafes, pubs,bars and restaurants as well as being treated and given water in many shops . There are beaches and parks and the promenade to walk them safely .
