We joined Ramsey Dog Club a few months ago and are thrilled to be members. Such a positive atmosphere - we couldn’t ask for more friendly, helpful trainers. Our dogs love going for their lessons and are both making excellent progress. I wish we had discovered them a few years ago!

The dog club with a heart! We have so much fun. Sharon is down to earth, patient and understanding. She gets to know dog and handler and adapts her teaching accordingly. I always come away from a session happier and proud of ourselves!

Having not had a puppy since I was a young toddler myself, getting a Lab puppy was highly over whelming.
Not knowing really where to start and wanting to find somewhere local and for more long term lessons rather than 6 week blocks, I found Sharon and her amazing team Ruth and Lorna.
I told Sharon that I wanted to do the best for my dog as it was more likely me that needed the training given labs are born half trained according to myths!
Sharon understood what I was looking to achieve and my lab has gone from strength to strength, although the lab is keen to tell me when I am not quick enough for her. She has matured from a playful, bashful puppy, to a obedience 1 year old who will sit and wait for duration.
Sharon allows us to experience different activities such as gundog basics, agility, sniffer training to name a few and with the support of Lorna and Ruth, our dogs learn new things.
I would highly recommend Ramsey Dog Club, absolute 5 star rating.

This is where the amazing Sharon Hewison and her team at Ramsey Dog Club can help. Their training isn’t a one track specific, such as just Obedience, or just Agility or Gundog training, or Scentwork. She covers all aspects, at all levels. Some will suit you and your dog, others might not. Whatever your breed of dog, you don’t have to choose just one form of training for it. Sharon’s ability to teach you in a positive and force free atmosphere, offers you many aspects of training. And best of all, it’s fun. Laughter will be heard in every one of her classes! But in particular, she is able to understand your dog’s behaviour. Why is my doing this or that? Often as owners we are too close to the situation to see it. But the insight and ability that Sharon has to offer and help, is far reaching. In some cases, it can literally be life changing and life enhancing. Giving you and your animal companion, the best of lives together. Isn’t that what we all want?

Ramsey Dog Club has been a constant life line for me and Jeremy. Jeremy being my first dog I was worried and scared of what I had taken on but even before we could do face to face classes we were offered a video session to prepare and start with our dogs for when face to face was allowed. This was an amazing offer and we had started bonding well before face to face started.
Jeremy is amazing and he picks things up so quickly where as I sometimes take a little longer and if I don't quite get it Sharon understands and changes her teaching approaches.
Aswell as recently achieving our IMDT grade 1 Jeremy has come runner up in obedience class at a local show, beating many a working dog. To me this shows the work Sharon has put in to both of us to achieve these high standards.
A great, fun, friendly dog club. I recommend to anyone who asks and will continue to do. We love our sessions and I can't wait to see where they will lead us next.

A brilliant warm and welcoming club that caters to all dogs and owners needs.
Sharon has a wealth of knowledge in so many areas of dog training, including; obedience, agility and hoopers to name just a few. All of which are incorporated into classes making for fun and varied lesson each week.

Brilliant friendly dog club with great group classes, 1:1 sessions and specialist workshops. ‘Not a do for x number of weeks’ then ‘completed it’ club but ongoing for you and your dog’s lifetime together. Really like Sharon’s down to earth, flexible, patient and realistic approach. She’s helped me form the unbeatable bond I have with my sprocker (though we can both find some things a bit challenging 😂 ) and training is tailored wonderfully to your strengths and weaknesses, always to help you improve and build you up, not let you fail. Never feel judged, always feel supported. Brilliant!
