We stayed here with our dog. All areas were accessible to us and our Basil ♥️🐶♥️. He got a sausage on a silver coloured platter each day at breakfast. He had a welcome pack on arrival. There is a private paddock to exercise dogs and the cost of his stay was given to rescue. Lovely walks locally and dog friendly pubs galore.

Lucinda & Andrew are proper Dog lovers and revel in being surrounded by guests Doggies. Treats and other stuff on arrival plus a Sausage at breakfast got a huge 5 Woofs of approval from our Chas. Lovely hosts, lovely rooms, superb.

Dogs are always welcome. There is a dog mat, towel and treats in the room and the dogs get a sausage for breakfast 😋

It is ideal for all breeds of dogs, with compliments for the dogs in the rooms and at breakfast. Both owners are lovely and share a love for dogs too which is so welcoming when you bring a dog. They also have an orchard which they allow dogs in and it is a great place for dogs to run around in.

Outstanding in every way imaginable. From the first welcome by the wonderful hosts, our two greyhounds were like part of their family. Totally spotless rooms (unlike many dog friendly accoms), to secure play areas for them, (their own orchard), not forgetting their sausage at breakfast. Cannot recommend Orchard Lodge highly enough.

Dogs aren't just accepted, they're truly welcomed. Dogs are allowed in public rooms as well as bedrooms (which are equipped with dog treats and mats for dinner bowls). They get their own individual bowl with a posh sausage for breakfast. There are facilities for washing muddy dogs outside after a country or beach walk and the owners will dry towels for you.The owners' dogs are also very keen to join in welcoming guests and their dogs.

Fantastic canine hosts. Amazing dog friendly hotel room with treats and a wonderful welcome. Their own enclosed field so plenty of exercise for your dog. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Beaches nearby. Fabulous.

The hosts are extremely friendly and couldn’t do more for us and our little dog! Breakfast time was nothing but a stress-free pleasure as dogs are welcomed to join their owners whilst dining and are also given a sausage to enjoy! There’s a safe outside area for dogs to exercise during their visit as well as truly welcomed.

Very attentive proprietors and extremely dog friendly with not only a dog welcome pack, consisting of a food mat, treats and a towel for wet days, but also a complimentary sausage at breakfast and also a very large secure enclosure / orchard for the dog to have a good run around in if required, you couldn't wish for a better place to stay

A truly fantastic and amazing gem of a B & B, you couldn't wish for a more dog friendly place to stay, with dogs receiving not only a welcome pack on arrival, but a complimentary sausage for breakfast. Dogs are well catered for and just as looked after as the owners, Andrew and Lucinda are just the perfect hosts and you really couldn't wish for a more wonderful and welcoming place to stay x

Orchard Lodge is the only truly dog friendly guest house on the Yorkshire Coast. Dogs sleep in the bedrooms with their owners, but you wouldn’t know, as the entire place is spotless and fresh throughout. Dogs come down for breakfast with their owners, and are given a sausage, all eagerly awaiting the point where they are brought out from the kitchen. They are supplied with treats and doggie towels, because they are a guest too. A lovely small paddock, all securely fenced for their safety, provides off lead exercise and a chance to have a toilet break away from the non-doggie guests and beautiful gardens. Advice as to dog friendly beaches and eating venues are provided by Lucinda and Andrew, the owners of Orchard Lodge, who know them well, having two dogs of their own. This is a very special place, a truly warm, inviting, genuinely dog friendly b&b, offering a quality service for owners and dogs alike.
