Not only do the best scones I have ever tasted (& I’ve eaten a fair few) & have such a fantastic range of food & drinks! They are so welcoming to the two legged guests but more so to the four legged!! They really make you feel welcome!!

Our dog was warmly greeted by the staff - and even got a small sausage as a goodbye gift. It was a really wonderful experience!

The Old Diary Tearoom offers a superb eating experience. The menu is full of culinary delights and delicious homemade food. The cheesecake and the scones are simply the very best. It is a lovely place to eat and a real bonus is that dogs are welcomed with genuine pleasure.

The Old Dairy Tearoom is a lovely place to eat with great food made better by the fact they are so welcoming to dogs, providing water bowls & sometimes a sausage. My dogs love it as much as we do. Resident dog Oscar is a bonus!

It helps they are dog friendly, as the owners have their own dog “Oscar”. Provisions such water bowls are available throughout the tea room and outside.

Well what can I say about the Old Dairy Tea Rooms, Longhope, that hasn’t already been said by scores of patrons. It has the old-world charm that you would expect from it’s name, But you also get that old world charming service, that has largely been forgotten these days.
What makes the Old Dairy Tea Rooms stand head and shoulders above many eateries, is their pet friendly attitude. As I enter the Old Dairy Tea Rooms, I scan around the table legs to see how many doggies are dining out. Over the past few years that I have frequented this delightful establishment I have met numerous breeds of doggies, toy’s, terriers, hounds, almost a Crufts compendium. The sign outside sums up the ethos at The Old dairy Tea rooms.

Dogs are warmly welcomed and treated just as well as the two legged customers. Water and a treat are always on hand, and it's lovely when Oscar the Shih Tzu is 'working" as he likes to say hello too.
