From start to finish our stay was excellent. At check the process was very efficient and helpful. Our room was exactly what we wanted. We had our dog with us and everything was clear on that score. We used the kitchen which was great and nice to talk to other guests. Very good location. We would certainly recommend it to friends and family and hopefully stay again

Excellent seafront location, friendly and helpful receptionist, clean and comfortable room what more could you want. Dispite road outside and number of people in and around hostel room was quiet. Very welcoming for dogs too.

Absolutely brilliant stay in Oban. Fiona was extremely welcoming to us and our dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here and will definitely be back.

Delighted with Oban hostel. Over 25 years ago we stayed in a dorm room as a family on the way to the isles, and were stunned by beautiful Oban. I have stayed in Oban loads of times since but never in the hostel, as I wanted privacy and my own bathroom. The private rooms offer everything I need and are even dog friendly. Great wifi too. I was very comfortable.

Ideally located, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Very friendly and welcoming check in experience. Absolutely spot on for the needs of our stay. Great that our dog was made so welcome too. Fantastic WiFi too!

Stayed here 4 days with my dog. Friendly and helpful staff, great location and views… amazing kitchen. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.

Our first WoofHostel stay. Been 3 times before Westie joined the family. Very dog friendly establishment. Private en-suite room upstairs, clean and spacious. Good night’s sleep for myself, 13yr old son and our pooch! Good kitchen facilities for cooking our breakfast – used the oven to bake bread. Lovely views out of room and communal areas of Oban Bay over to Kerrera. Good value!

Fantastic stay. Lovely rooms, great view and just a 5 minute walk into town. Check in was easy and Fiona was really helpful with lots of local information. Would defo recommend and will stay here again when we visit. We had a private shower and bathroom, went downstairs with a few beers and ate a takeaway. Kitchens were open for use, or they will even make you a cooked breakfast in the morning. Parking was good and we never struggled for a space. Best of all, Dogs made very welcome!!!
