Great trainers who know how to teach people, not just dogs. A wealth of knowledge, so approachable with really proactive and friendly Fb groups too. A lot of free content and they are always furthering their own knowledge too. As a bonus everything is positive reward based so the experience is amazing for the dogs

I have been training with My Dog for a couple of years now in a variety of different classes. Jo is the absolute best trainer we have ever worked with and goes above and beyond for her clients. The training is always positive and tailored to the dog in question and Jo is always trying to develop the training as new things develop. I cannot recommend them enough for the well-being of dogs and their owners!

So glad we found My Dog Activity Training and Jo, her gentle, positive guidance has not only helped us understand our pup better, train on her terms but also to relax ourselves and know we're still doing the right thing even when training doesn't go to plan! Learnt so many things I could never have guessed at or researched myself, and that is down to Jo's dedication and discipline to keep educating herself. Hi has always been very welcoming and supportive through training what was my young pooch, now a very well behaved 7 year old! Couldn’t have done it without the guidance and assistance without loads of pressure. Since going here my husky has developed skills I didnt think was possible with the breed, the positive methods I've been shown have completely changed the way I original thought a dog should be trained and seeing on a regular basis both Jo's undertake training gives me confidence they teach to what the modern science and research shows is effective. My labrador, Darwin, and I have trained with Jo for a number of years now.
What I like about this centre is;
-The great facilities including a large barn, paddock and easy parking.
-The friendly atmosphere, I don’t feel under pressure in any way
-Jo’s extensive knowledge and the way she enables us to achieve and improve, including understanding theory.

I have been a client of Jo's at My Dog Activity Training for the past 3 years. I love her energy and approach, with training being based on science, latest best practice and with the dog's welfare paramount. The best thing is that her training works. I have a previously reactive terrier now comfortable with other dogs. I have terriers I can trust off lead, and that walk on a loose lead. I have a great bond with my dogs, and enjoy spending time with them. I couldn't recommend Jo's training more highly.

I found this centre on a friends recommendation. Everything is geared towards helping owners understand their dogs better and therefore work with them successfully. Jo is brilliant! Within the repertoire of in-person courses, 121, virtual classes and maintenance activities offered there is something for everyone. Jo is patient and understanding when the humans don't quite get it right, or are themselves overwhelmed, and has the dogs best interests and quality of life at the centre of all her training. It says something that her clients are a little community who are supportive of eachother and thoroughly engaged inside and outside scheduled classes.

Really love how Jo can adapt her training techniques to each dog & owners needs. Having an overwhelmed hyper-excitable dog can be extremely stressful.
