A great dog friendly place with an enclosed garden. There are good walks nearby to do with the dog as well.

Its an ideal base with a dog, so close to the forest and a great big area at the lodge for them to run about. The owner gives you a lovely welcome pack and includes things for your dog, we've had a licky mat, balls, treats, and kippers before. Our dog loves Liz the owner and likes to meet her every morning when she comes to check the hot tub.

Just returned from our 2nd stay here wow another amazing weekend spent with my family making memories ,such a superb lodge full with everything you need for a relaxing stay,immaculately clean ,secure garden safe for dogs ,liz is a excellent host ,nothing is too much trouble ,liz even leaves a lovely welcome pack with lots of nice goodies and essentials even includes home baked scones ,treats and toys for the dogs , spacious private garden with massive hot tub and all secure excellent location for those lovely walks in the woods definitely recommended this lodge we will definitely be returning for our 3rd trip here next year ,thankyou liz for letting us stay in your lovely lodge and for your hospitality the herbert gang

We stayed here May 2022. This is a very beautiful cottage in stunning forest location. It is a very quiet relaxing cottage. Facilities are fabulous and everything you would need is there. The host is lovely and we so appreciated the welcome pack that was given to us which included home baking. We would not hesitate to book at Loxley Lodge again and look forward to a further stay here. Ps our doggie Brodie enjoyed his treats given by owner.

Superb accommodation, well above average. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Ideal for dog walking as on the edge of Sherwood Forest and within walking distance from Sherwood Pines.

Loxleys Lodge was the first place we've taken our rescue Collie away. I completely relaxed, it was a home from home for dog and owners alike.
