we have been going for years and they started doing dog friendly lodges,and after a long days walk there is a dog shower to clean them up..and a big enclosed dog field...great park ...

Holds a special place to us, we came for our honeymoon, 1st year anniversary and then came when we got our puppy and it was amazing. We stayed in log cabins and caravan dog friendly, Love to go back with our dog! It was nice seeing other owners with their dogs. Really nice atmosphere and plenty of walking for them too!

Great place to go & relax & even better that we can take our 2 fur babies with us they're safe whilst we use the hot tub as enclosed decking & they love a good run in the enclosed dog field (even though our houdini Jack Russell tried her chances under the gate) all in all very good

Longnor is completely dog friendly. Dog towels provided in the holiday lodges, warm dog shower provided on site (free) to wash the puddy paws or to cool down in the summer. Secure enclosed dog walking field with waste bin. Secure decking area on the holiday lodges. Taking a break with our 4 legged friends is so much easier when dogs are welcomed and provided for. I always recommend Longnor to friends. 🐶 🏆

Longnor Wood Holiday Park is a place which you never forget. The peacefulness, wildlife and the beautiful scenery. The dog friendly caravans are secure with a decking area so your dog can wonder about the decking freely, the exercise field is huge . Plus the idea of a dog box on the accommodation containing treats , blanket , water bowl , poo bags and the bonus of a free tennis ball which your dog can keep is an excellent idea . We will definitely be returning with our furbaby.

Stayed there in our touring caravan. Our dog Ozzy loved the large secure dog field to run around in. Plus the warm enclosed dog shower for those muddy days was great.

Well, we went camping at Longnor Wood a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. There's an amazing safe and enclosed field for our furry friends to safely run around in, and to top it all, it has a beautiful view. Our greyhound Sunny loved it....
The facilities are second to none, everything you need is available. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. We'll gladly come again.

Lovely large walled field you can let your dog off their lead so they can have a good run. There's a doggy welcome pack waiting in your accommodation including a towel to dry them.

The exercise field is a really good option, secure & safe, maintained to a high standard. The lodge accommodation which is dog friendly is safe & secure. The "doggy" welcome pack on arrival was a added bonus, plus the use of towels & the dog wash station, to clean down your mucky pups after a nice relaxing walk in the Peaks.

I stayed at Longnor Wood for the first time this year purely on the fact that it was dog friendly. It’s is an ideal place for you and your pet to stay, there is a huge beautiful field for your dog to explore and the lodges etc are pet friendly too. It’s fab.

Longnor park is set in a wonderful area for human and our four legged friends to walk and explore, but the park also has excellent facilities on site for everybody. For example, modern and efficient shower areas for us humans and our doggy companions (separate ones I hasten to add) to clean away the Derbyshire mud. On site there is an excellent, large, enclosed field for exercising too….think that is mainly for the four legged friends though …. A lovely relaxing atmosphere. Well done everyone.

Because they cater for everyone. The dogs have a very large field to runaround in. Also, you wouldn't even know which are the dog friendly cabins as they are all meticulously clean. I can't rate Longnor Wood Holiday Park highly enough.
I personally don't have a dog but I can see how well they are catered for. We've been taking our holidays in Longnor Wood Holiday Park for a few years now.

We have stayed at Longnor Wood several times now, it is such a fabulous location!
We absolutely love taking our dog to the beautiful dog field and all the fantastic walks in the surrounding area.
The dog provisions in the caravan go above and beyond- we were really impressed!

I have been going here for a few years now, and I go numerous times a year, this place is tranquil, its is great for dogs, they have a dog walking area, and lodges, pods and camping all are dog friendly, they leave treats and towels for your dog, and also there is a dog shower on site, love this place, we are going twice more this year, already been twice

because I think it is a great park to stay at well kept and looked after friendly staff a better shop would be a good addition but all in all a great place to relax. Even the dog field was fenced off so the dogs can run free and be safe plenty of dog bins as well

The site and the Lodge we stayed in was very clean and tidy,a very peaceful site tucked away from any road noise.
A great location for walking or trips to Bakewell,Buxton and all over the Peak District.

Longnor Wood is such a wonderful place to stay and our VIP (very important pooch) that’s our lovely rescue girly simply loved it here too. Surrounded by rolling hills and fantastic countryside there are so many great walks directly from the site and a large field to exercise them safely too. Beautiful views surround you and we enjoyed the peace and tranquility here and watching the sunrise and sunset over the hills. A dog wash on site for muddy paws after a busy day out ensures the super high standard of accommodation remains clean and tidy too. We loved it here and can’t wait to return. Easy access to nearby Bakewell and Buxton, walk the picturesque old railway track or sample some amazing food at the local dog friendly pub just nearby. No time to “paws” ….. get booking and experience all that lovely Longnor has to offer you and your furry friends. We are certain you too will have happy “tails” to tell after a wonderful stay here.

We had a holiday here in May 2022 and the park is incredible , the staff are wonderful and our dogs were not just tolerated but made to feel as welcome as we were. There were extras for the dogs such as a towel and bowl, there is also a free dog wash station and the most beautiful dog run. It is huge and has one of the peak districts best views. The staff greeted the dogs when we arrived and they recommended dog friendly activities and pubs. The caravans and lodges even have a double gate system which is an absolute god sent for dog owners who want to make sure their dogs are not only contained while in the outdoor area, but safely contained when you are coming in and out too. I recommend Longnor for anyone who desires a peaceful holiday with their furry best friends!
