Truly Dog Friendly - we stayed at The Old Stables March 2024. Superbly appointed and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and it was so relaxing to be allowed to let the dogs roam freely and safely around.

What a lovely find. This really is a dog friendly cottage. We stayed in The Woodshed. There was two of us and two dogs. The accommodation was first class and everything and I mean everything is on hand, a real home from home. For our fur babies, the grounds are safe and extensive. The grounds are completely secure so there are no worries and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed running around with other dogs all week.Would recommend 100% and we will be back. Thanks for a lovely week.

What a place this is. If you are looking for a home away from home where the fur babies are as welcome as the humans look no further. Letheringham Mill is simply magical. Jacqui was so welcoming and made us feel instantly at home. The grounds and cottages are immaculately kept and brilliantly thought out and the pups are free to roam. The Mills rich history is documented perfectly too. We had the most amazing week as a family and would love to return one day. Wonderful.

The Woodshed was amazing myself and Duke had such a relaxing time, lovely walks around the grounds, all information in folders so you can plan your days out.

The cottages are all stunning & five star. No need to bring tea coffee milk, biscuits or water.
Washing up liquid etc all provided,
Also soap shampoo conditioner & even doggy shampoo.
The dogs are well catered for with their own beds, blankets, towels, bowls & doggy treats.
The grounds are stunning & spacious.

We love coming here with our Staffy Max who loves to wander around to every other "cottage" and make friends with humans and dogs. It is the most dog-friendly place we have ever stayed in and so luxurious too. The gardens and woods are lovely - it is joy to walk around with Max in tow sniffing at everything he can find. And sitting by the stream watching the cows ambling along across the fields in the evening, after a day out, chilling with a glass of wine before dinner is so perfectly relaxing and a wonder end to the day. We have been three times and will no doubt be returning in 2023.

The place is a dream, the dogs of which we have 5, have never, never, been as welcome as they are here. Jacqui is just so so lovely. This is not a dog tolerant establishment it is a dog loving establishment. This will be our third visit and we live nearly 350 miles away but so worth the journey.

These cottages are just the most perfect cottages I have ever stayed in!! To find such luxury in a dog friendly place is very rare indeed. Both dogs and their humans are treated the same; the best and most comfortable beds, bedding and towels, dog and human treats, wine and water every need is catered for! The acres of grounds are a joy to roam and nowhere is out of bounds. New for this year are the fabulous black grills and fire pits dotted in and around the island meadow. All have kit with them to light a fire and keep it going with kindling and logs. I never want to leave this wonderfully relaxing place owned by Jacqui and serviced to such high standards by her friendly team. Bring on my next holiday!!

An absolutely gorgeous location and property! We stayed in the Hayloft with my two young daughters. We don’t own a dog ourselves but they adored having animals around them on this trip. 5 star for everything! Beautifully furnished. Dog friendly if you have one.. providing you with dog bowls, treats, rugs etc. We took the owners dogs for a walk in the grounds one evening. It’s a huge 7 acres. Delightful place and super friendly. Jacqui is the perfect host.

Having stayed there 4 times in the last year, (with various members of my family and friends) I can definitely guarantee humans and dogs alike a warm welcome. It's such a wonderful place, totally enclosed so that your furry friends can run free, beds, blankets, water and food bowls and treats are waiting in each cottage (for your dog/s) along with everything humans require in the well stocked/well maintained Hayloft, Woodshed, Old Stables and Riverside cottages. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I stayed at the riverside cottage for a week in May 2021 with my Labrador and beagle- Shar pei cross . My older dog is 10 , and we have been to many holiday cottages in the U.K. over the years … . Letheringham cottages are so luxurious , comfortable and dog friendly …. and we had a wonderful time . We have stayed at many self catering premises over the last 15 years and nearly all accepted dogs reasonably happily but Letheringham Water Mill welcomes dogs with open arms,doors, etc. It is superb and totally friendly and accepting of all dogs. We have stayed here many times now and have stayed in all of the cottages.
We love it as it has all you could need in a break away.
The cottages are all of a very high quality, there’s amazing scenery and it’s all very dog friendly.
Despite other guests being in the other cottages, you still feel you’re the only ones there...it’s very private.
There are so many things to see. Many farm animals around and the swans swim past every day.
Our dogs love it and love going for walks there. It feels like they’re getting a good holiday too.
A big bonus is that they don’t charge you extra for taking your dogs as many others do and genuinely love having you and your dog/s sharing with them.
We always go home feeling relaxed after an enjoyable stay.
