This is our home from home, the properties are five star boutique decorated and grounds are picturesque and so well maintained with hidden treasures as you explore the gardens. Jacqui is a wonderful host, so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay perfect. And best of all, the grounds are compleyely secure with our dogs free to roam too, free range, just like the sign on the gate says. We love going back every time!

The surroundings are beautiful and there's so much freedom for dogs to play, but also the owners have provided everything your dog could need in each cottage. It’s a former mill on a secure enclosed island, with plenty of walks and attractions for the whole family.

I’m voting for Letheringham Mill Cottages as we came here for a mini honeymoon break immediately after our wedding and it was one of our all time favourite breaks. The grounds and cottage was immaculate, the most beautiful surroundings and really lovely people that run and own it.

The cottage we stayed in had absolutely everything we needed and more for our stay, so well equipped and our dog had the best stay. Very accommodating for dogs where they can relax just as much as their humans! The cottage had such lovely touches such as treats and toys for our dog to play with. It’s not often you get to find somewhere that’s so beautiful but also so perfect for dogs.

I stayed at Letheringham Mill for the first time in June and will definitely go back. The whole setting is so relaxing, the cottage (Hayloft and Old Stables) was so comfortable. Our friends stayed in the Old Stables with their dogs which was great for them all being all on one floor. It was perfect that we could have our own space and then open the adjoining door to entertain. The weather was amazing which meant we could spend alot of time on the decking relaxing and with the views and outlook it was an ideal week away. It is so safe for dogs to roam and enjoy being free.

I have stayed at Lethingham Mill Cottages numerous times and as soon as you enter the property the “Free Range Dogs” sign says it all. With an astounding amount of land for dogs to run free, beautiful river setting, and super friendly host Jacquie, it is the best possible place to stay away with your dogs. There is a lovely garden walk within the grounds, but due to its location tucked in the Suffolk countryside, there are plenty of beautiful walks around and a great pub just a stroll away. I would highly recommend Lethingham Mill Cottages to anyone looking for a countryside retreat.

This is the most dog friendly place I have stayed. The cottages are beautifully furnished and include extras like wine, milk etc. My dog was equally well supplied with dog bowl, blanket , bed and treats. Grounds are large and the dogs can run freely. Letheringham Mill isn’t just dog friendly, it is a home from home where your dog is as welcome as you are. It is somewhere your dog can relax just as much as you can, and you don’t have to worry about muddy paws (dog shampoo is provided) or stray dog hairs. Even lovelier is that, although you know the cottage will have had a happy dog staying right before you, it is always completely spotlessly clean. Sometimes you go somewhere dog friendly and it smells a little doggy, or you feel a little sneezy - but not here. It is honestly a wonderful stay!

The accommodation was first class and everything and I mean everything is on hand, a real home from home. For our fur babies, the grounds are safe and extensive. Both dogs and their humans are treated the same; the best and most comfortable beds, bedding and towels, dog and human treats, wine and water every need is catered for! An absolutely gorgeous location and property! We stayed in the Hayloft with my two young daughters. We don’t own a dog ourselves but they adored having animals around them on this trip. 5 star for everything! Beautifully furnished. Dog friendly if you have one.. providing you with dog bowls, treats, rugs etc. We took the owners dogs for a walk in the grounds one evening. It’s a huge 7 acres. Delightful place and super friendly. Jacqui is the perfect host.

It's such a wonderful place, totally enclosed so that your furry friends can run free, beds, blankets, water and food bowls and treats are waiting in each cottage (for your dog/s) along with everything humans require in the well stocked/well maintained Hayloft, Woodshed, Old Stables and Riverside cottages. We have stayed here many times now and have stayed in all of the cottages.

We love it as it has all you could need in a break away.

The cottages are all of a very high quality, there’s amazing scenery and it’s all very dog friendly.

Despite other guests being in the other cottages, you still feel you’re the only ones there...it’s very private.

There are so many things to see. Many farm animals around and the swans swim past every day.

Our dogs love it and love going for walks there. It feels like they’re getting a good holiday too.

A big bonus is that they don’t charge you extra for taking your dogs as many others do and genuinely love having you and your dog/s sharing with them.

We always go home feeling relaxed after an enjoyable stay.

We love it!
