Having a puppy that has boundless energy is often to much and I feel like I need to leave pubs that are dog friendly but I never once felt like that in the Lairds house, they were fantastic and tolerant and realised that as soon as everyone had made a fuss of her she would settle. She did settle once all humans had said their hellos and gave her a little stroke. This is something other pubs don't recognise they just see a puppy pulling but don't realise it is because it wants to say hello in its own language.

They always have treats on the bar for dogs, never need to ask for water it is just delivered, they offer a dog food menu and treats. Dogs are always made a fuss of and speaking personally my dogs loves going there, she is so relaxed and settled.
Human food is amazing too, staff are lovely and the atmosphere is always pleasant.

Wonderful place very dog friendly, owners have dogs themselves that are very friendly, doggy menu is offered and nothing is a problem, water brought over promptly and lots of fuss made for pooch, would highly recommend to take your dogs here. There is also a dining area where the dogs are not allowed which is nice for those who don't want to be around the pooches, lovely touch.

Because not only do the humans feel more than welcome the staff go way and above to look after, treat and care for manās best friend. Any excuse at all we pop in with our dog as we know heās absolutely spoilt rotten.

Our older pug has mobility issues and has to be pushed around in her "puggy". When we visit the lairds, there's always space made for her and the staff always give her an extra bit of fuss. They make her and us so welcome and so relaxed, it's like hone from home.

Fantastic setting, welcome atmosphere. Such a friendly team working here and dogs really are welcome with treats a plenty , luxurious rooms, enclosed outdoor space. Been a few times and never disappointed. Do great food too and the decor is amazing
