My dog Bruno was absolutely terrified of going to the groomers. I tried 2 different groomers before finding Gail, and with both he would come home shaking and obviously traumatised. Gail took the time to get to know Bruno and built his trust. He has never been tethered and Gail will always go with how he is feeling, for example if he needs a break. I can now take Bruno to Gail with the upmost confidence that he is cared for and understood. He loves going to Gail and will gladly now hop up on to the table to be groomed. This means so much to me and I highly recommend Gail. I couldn't think of a more worthy winner!! Thank you so much from both me and Bruno 💕

We visited Gail after 2 x previous groomers refused to groom Ted again as he was so terrified (he’s a rescue and hated being restrained / bathed). Previously, Ted had to be held by another person and had to be taken home on occasions with his coat not fully cut!
After his first visit with Gail, Ted came home happy and calm with a beautifully cut coat, smelling delicious!! Gail spoke at length with me a few days prior to our appointment and listened to my concerns, explaining in detail how she would do her best to make the appointment pleasurable for Ted. I think she succeeded! Ted is now so much more relaxed when he goes to see his Auntie Gail and I no longer worry about him becoming stressed and upset. A video was taken of Ted saying hello to Gail on one of his visits which shows the two of them rolling around on the floor, cuddling and playing..it warmed my heart and was wonderful to see!!
Gail is truly wonderful with dogs and her love for them is obvious to anyone. I would never want to take Ted anywhere else..Gail can never retire!!

Gail is an amazing groomer, she treats dogs with the love and care they deserve. Our dog became difficult to groom due to nervousness and as owners we thought our only option was the vets, but we were recommended Gail and she has been amazing. Gail spent time with our dog and now our dog sits confidently and doesn’t mind having her coat groomed, she enjoys a bath, has her nails clipped and doesn’t mind the hair dry afterwards, Gail has never had to restraint our dog and doesn’t believe in this approach, I wish all groomers were like Gail, she truly loves dogs and that is clear to see. We have stayed with our dog every time she has been groomed, Gail is always friendly and chatty, such a pleasure to deal with.
