Long Stretch of beach that is dog friendly all year round. Lots of shops, cafes and pubs in Filey are also dog friendly.

Mostly the sheer expanse and size of the beach and the sense of a wide open space and freedom it gives. Dogs can just run and run, but it is such a large beach that it is not crowded. The sea is gentle with small waves so not intimidating, and Filey is a lovely town to call into for lunch and wander round the shops. It retains the character of a traditional coastal town with no cheap amusements or unwarranted noise.

Has two wonderful sides of the beach that are open to dogs during the Summer, and after September Dogs are welcome on all the beach, all 5-6 miles of it.
