Lovely hamper for us and the doggos when we arrived. Everything clean, and yet dogs allowed anywhere (except in the hot tub!!). Beautiful surroundings, lovely private enclosed field. Owners always responsive to emails. Can't recommend it highly enough!

It is a wonderful place where you can relax whilst your dogs can run free, jump in the pond and then have a warm shower. The cottages are truly dog friendly but also perfect for humans as are the treats provided. And having a a dip in the hot tub watching the sun go down is the icing on the cake. A normally reactive barking dog suddenly becomes a chilled quieter dog for a week. What’s not to like

It's the most amazing and tranquil place to go and relax with your dogs. Knowing you can let your reactive dogs roam free with no drama is so rewardingto see. They all love the lake. The whole area is so well.kept. The accommodation is stunning and the attention to detail is amazing. The bed is so comfy, the dogs love it to. The welcome pack is so thoughtful, especially as you cater for vegans, including changing the duvet.

My dog adores her stays here and so do I! There are not many places in this world where my reactive dog can truly relax. From the minute we get there she can run free off lead safely. The fields bring out her inquisitive side and she can sniff, hunt and zoom all she wants. It can be tiring with a high needs dog and sometimes we need a break from the stress. We always come back from our holiday destressed and closer than we were before.

Absolutely the best for holidays with dogs. No limits - ever. Covers provided for sofas and beds - no nonsense or rules. Luxury bathrooms for the humans and hot/cold shower for the dogs. Plus huge fields with direct access from the cottages for the dogs to enjoy. All private and secure.

Luxury all the way fir dogs and humans, safe environment, really a chill out zone with no worries about where your dogs go, it truly is dog friendly, other places say dog friendly then place restrictions where the dog can go, that’s not dog friendly to me. Amazing place to stay where both dogs and humans can relax and enjoy the freedom of fields and ponds. The accommodation is excellent with dog friendly flooring (no slipping) and top notch facilities. Everything you could need for your stay. The dogs get their own outside tub (great for rinsing off) and the humans get a hot tub. Dog friendly Ely is close by to visit with a warm welcome for dogs most places including the cathedral.

Everything is catered for. The dog fields are amazing and secure and brilliant that you just open the gate and you are there - no crossing of roads.
The welcome packs are so thoughtful and the accommodation is hotel standard.

By far the most dog friendly place we've ever been but also really nice for the humans. Excellent if you have a reactive dog. The fields are lush and easy to book. The cottages are finished to a high standard. The hot tub is amazing. More than that it's the little things like dog towels, bowls and delicious welcome packs for both humans and dogs. They always go the extra mile, eg loaning us a play pen so we don't have to pack our own. We love it and visit at least once a year. Can't recommend it enough.

Developing Dogs has everything a dog needs. The cottage contains everything a human needs as well a delightful log burner. Outside their is a hot tub within the garden. The garden is fully enclosed and backs onto a delightful open field. This field is a fantastic space to let you pet off lead. This is a great place to holiday especially if you have a reactive doggie.

Because nothing is too much for them they think of everything and go that extra mile. For example they put raised dog beds in the garden, pet calming sprays first aid for your dogs, food bowls dog towels, fans to keep them and us cool name and number of a vet, pet treats. out door shower for the dogs if you forget anything from home you just have to let them know and they sort it for you we needed crates as one dog doesn't get on with the other inside so they loaned us a crate you name it they will it for you definitely

Developing Dogs cottages has amazing facilities for dogs, especially for those that are reactive to other dogs. Their is a large garden that adjoins to a large field. The field can be booked in 45 minute blocks for independent use, enabling your dog to have total freedom.
The cottage gardens are all set with at least a metres space from the neighbours garden. Which is perfect for our reactive Jack Russell.
The cottage have all the facilities to make for a relaxing holiday including a log burner, a hot tub and a very comfy, spacious bed.

Add in private access to secure fields from the gardens if the properties just about makes a holiday here perfect. Not forgetting the option of booking some 121onsite training. Not just Dog Friendly, it's a dog paradise. Especially for those of us with reactive dogs. There are no rules like in other places about dogs not being allowed on settees or beds. The cottages have gardens designed so dogs cannot see each other. You have the use of a secure field as many times as you want (via an online booking form). For the humans you have your own hot tub and it truly is 5* luxury. We have now been twice and are booking for next .

Being a mum of Four Greyhound’s, all have a high prey drive, they can clear a 5ft fence and also being reactive to other dogs. Because of this we can never let them off the lead apart from hiring a secure field.
So when I searched for a hound holiday it was slim pickings with people saying they had “secure” gardens…. Fences 4/5ft… gardens were also small.
So finding Sian and what she has created was honestly a miracle. She has literally created a haven for dog and human alike!

We recently stayed at developing dogs holidays in barn owl. The website was well laid out with plenty of useful information and easy to book. I FB messaged to ask a few additional questions and had a friendly, quick & in-depth response. I received an email ready for our arrival which has relevant & useful information. Overall the customer service was excellent.
The cottage was lovely, clean, warming & welcoming with a few bespoke touches which made it special. It was perfect for the dogs, they had space, access to secure fields (with a easy booking system), also local quiet walks & were aloud on the furniture & beds.
There is generous space between cottages which is fenced which was perfect for my dogs as being close to other dogs would of been stressful. It was one of my dogs first time away since he was a puppy (3.5yrs ago) he settled quickly & enjoyed his stay. It was helpful that the area is quiet.
Overall the cottage was excellent, it was nice having eggs from the chickens next door, and other little treats for humans & dogs from local shops.
It was easy to relax we enjoy ourselves & the night sky was beautiful.
It was a perfect holiday for us & our dogs.

The lodges have everything you could wish for to be dog friendly- dogs can do anything they would do at home, go on the furniture or the bed. Treats, poo bags, bowls etc are all included. The gardens are completely secure with 6ft fencing, and there are 10 acres of securely fenced adjoining fields for your sole use. Doggy heaven! They’re pretty human friendly too!

The perfect place for humans and dogs alike. Accommodation is beautiful and dogs are allowed on the sofas and beds and they even provide you with throws. Our boys loved the exercise in the 8 acres of fields. Everything was thought through to ensure that everyone had a relaxing holiday even down to natural dog biscuits for the dogs. The 1:1 training sessions we booked with Sian and Calum were very well thought out and catered for each individual dog. Loved it so much we booked to go back for next year.

Developing Dogs is a lovely place to stay. The cottage has an amazing bathroom, the shower is the best I've ever had. In the living room their is a log burner to enjoy during the colder months. A spacious garden with a hot tub with over 6 foot fences. The garden leads directly onto an enclosed field that can be booked for your own exclusive use for your dog to enjoy running free ?
The cottages aren't far from Ely. Ely is so pretty and has so.much to offer if you want beautiful scenery, good food and a little shopping.

We've just had a fantastic holiday there with our 4 dogs. Most places say they are dog friendly, but Developing Dogs is "DOG FRIENDLY". Dogs are allowed on the settee and on the bed if that's what they are used to. Sian provides dog towels, address tags and a first aid kit for dogs as well as treats.
You can book a secure 8 acre field for 1/2 an hour every morning, and then the secure 4 acre any time during the day (at no cost). There are 2 ponds in the field but you are provided with an outside heated shower and Fox Poo Shampoo, if they go in the smelly one.
There are 3 cottages with their own gardens and the dogs cannot see one another through the fencing. Ideal for our reactive one !
For the humans each cottage has a hot tub. It really is the best place I have been to with the dogs and I have never felt so relaxed on holiday. If I could give 10 stars, I would

Welcoming with so many facilities available to ensure you and your dog(s) have a relaxing and fun time. Secure, ensuring neighbouring dogs don't meet, lots of space in the secure fields, huge clean garden with jacuzzi, with day trips possible to the beach from Ely. Immaculately clean particularly during 2020, which got us off to a good start with comfort and confidence. Definitely recommend, with no additional charges, high level of cleanliness, and every facility you could ask for, it was more than a home from home. Dogs and adults totally catered for to ensure a successful stay.
