Absolutely amazing dog friendly restaurant. Staff are so nice and professional and our dog loved the free meal he was given when visiting. Added bonus that the pub also caters for Gluten Free/ Coeliac.

Friendly welcoming pub for the dogs, good for adults as well. Free dog grub and no children to disturb the dogs. People grub also very good, local beers on offer.

My sister's dog was totally relaxed here. It was lovely to see other dogs sitting happily with their owners and eating their own doggy dinners. Staff made them feel very welcome.

Fantastic food, friendly service and a very warm welcome for my dog. Whilst we tucked into a fabulous roast dinner, our dog was served his very own chicken, rice and peas dinner! He was very happy and relaxed and we felt very comfortable bringing him in. Some pubs say they are dog friendly but when you enter it doesn’t actually feel like that. Not here!!! Loved it.

The owners were extremely friendly and welcomiing to the dog. My Pomeranian Anastasia was very happy with her chicken ,rice and veg dinner. It was nice for my dog to be welcomed in the restaurant. I would highly recommend

We paid our first visit here, to meet up with friends today and the service was great, the food was delicious and our dog has never enjoyed going to a pub so much, having had a free doggy dinner. Awesome place.

because it truly is a dog friendly pub in every possibly way, they organise regular walks, they offer to feed our pooches when we eat and they even a lovely little chap come greet you at the door.

This pub is so pro dog! Mop and all the staff really make you and your dog feel welcome. Mop also does monthly dog walks in the New Forest.

I love the Compass Inn because I can go for a Sunday roast with my dad (who has coeliac disease) and bring my dog along! The service is always amazing with friendly staff, the food is delicious and I really like that they offer a meal for my dog too.

I've voted for Compass Inn because they're a great pub that allows dogs, but not kids. I'm gluten intolerant so it also means I can eat anything that's on their menu, which is great because the food is amazing.

We often go down to the New forest, This i just a hidden gem food is fantastic, the dogs get so much fuss from everyone that we love going, When you order a main meal, the dog gets one as well.
We also put into their charity box.
Before Covid they used to do a dog walk and the people and pets could also have sunday lunch at the pub on return.
THIS PUB IF BRILLIANT wish every village had a pub like this.
