It is one of the best doggy activities you could do, at Dip and Dive they help nervous pups find their confidence and help older dogs get much needed exercise that good for their joins, as well as just being all round great fun for the water babies! Reggie & Ruby have been coming to Canine Dip and Dive for over a year now. They started off coming to the pool parties and over time they have built up the confidence to do the diving. The dogs have the best time every time we visit, they are that excited that they run from the car to the pool and jump straight in. All dogs that we see have the best time learning, swimming and jumping!

Canine Dip and Dive was fantastic, my German shepherd just found his love of water so thought it would be good to try him in a pool. The guys knew their stuff, support Burt in and out of the water. Burt was quite nervous at first but Andy made Burt feel at ease and even got him diving off the top level. He noticed when Burt needed help and made it such a fun and enjoyable time Burt didn’t want to leave. I can’t wait to go again. These guys are amazing and so knowledgeable and friendly, they provide an amazing service and are able to help owners build their own confidence with their dog in the water, which is something I struggled with when Burt wanted to swim in the river but I know here he can be free, swim to his hearts content and he is safe. They deserve this for all the long hours they put in and how lovely they are.

The service is easy to book, Andy is so good with my lab Barley he removes the diving ramp just for her as she jumps the length of the pool. Jo always takes amazing photos and videos of dogs having fun in the pool. Barley has enjoyed the last 5 summers at canine dip and dive it really is her happy place.

Fantastic day for the pup. Run very well and every dog is affectionately looked after. My daughters pup (Barney) enjoyed the swim and playing with the toys. So much so he wouldn’t get out to rest. Even the humans get looked after, it was raining on the day and there is a cabin to stay in as well as a gazebo which watching the pups swim. Highly recommend and Barney will be back for sure.

At two and a half George the Labrador had steadfastedly refused to do anything more than a deep paddle. But Andy got him in the pool,quietly explained everything to him and within five minutes George was not only swimming but roaring down the pool to retrieve toys. Charlie Brown my chocolate Labrador would not swim, so we took him to Dip and Dive in Otley, within 10 minutes of being with Andy he was confidentially swimming, this was a year ago, we have visited many times since, its amazing now to see him diving off the high board with such confidence, with out dip and dive he wouldn't be swimming which he now loves. We have moved a hour and 15 minutes away but we still take him to Otley, he gets super excited when we turn in to the road now.
Jo and Andy are great always very accommodating to dates and changes. We always tell people about the pool because we believe its the best place and safest place to take your doggy for a swim.

Koda has been going since he was a puppy. Andy helping him to swim has been so important. Last winter while walking koda found a body of water that was frozen over. I didn’t realise it was there. He fell through but he didn’t panic just turned round breaking the ice with his paws until he could climb out at the edge.

Andy was very good at persuading into the water and helped him to become confident in the water. He is now happy to go into streams, rivers etc. We shall be trying a pool party next time. I have been taking my Labrador to Canine Dip and Dive since April 2019. It is a wonderful safe environment for dogs to gain confidence in the water. Andy is brilliant in the pool with the dogs. Andy and Jo are great hosts. My dog is now a very confident swimmer. It is a great experience for water lovers.

The best time for water loving dogs! We deliberately went on holiday close by to access this. They are so friendly and dog focussed, and we got photos, too! They put any dog at ease and also provide an additional challenge for water confident dogs. I wish they were closer so we could visit more regularly. Especially important at the blue green algae time of year when dogs just need to swim, and when it's too hot for walks but they still need to exercise. Can't recommend them highly enough. Just fantastic.

On my first time visiting with the dog for his first lesson I felt immediately welcomed and the atmosphere was extremely relaxed.
Dog took to staff very quickly and had an amazing time, he wasnt made to do anything he didn't want to and ended up loving the water and playing a little tug of war each time he returned the toy.
After finishing I was offered a warm drink and there was no feeling of being rushed of. Lovely group of people and really secure and clean area too.

Brilliant, fun experience centred around the dog. Really understanding of dogs needs - Felt very safe, they asked lots of welfare questions before going in the pool to make sure he’d be ok. The organisers played with my older dog encouragingly but never pushing too far. You can go in with them too! He had the best time and so did we!

My name is Monty and I am a 3 year golden retriever. My owners took me for a solo swim last week as I had been very nervous about going in the water. Andy looked after me so well and within a few minutes I was swimming around having a great time. My owner had a dip in with me too. Jo took some fab photos of me swimming and is a very nice lady.
