I got married at your hotel on 26th July 2018 and we had our lovely doggie Beauty at our wedding at the church and had her dinner with us all and must say your staff and services were amazing and super dog friendly and the food was so good x

Our two little dogs are out pride and joy and are our children in the family. We hate leaving them to go on holiday but with Broadoaks they get to come with us too! The location is beautiful, theres hundreds of walks to take the dogs on, the rooms are exceptional standard, the food is delicious and the staff are nothing but helpful and friendly. Will always return to broadoaks!

The amazing welcome and facilities for dogs. Dig dinners are available and gods are truly welcomed. They have kennels you can use during dinner and a lovely enclosed field for furries to have fun in.

Broadoaks go above and beyond to ensure they not only the humans but the hounds also have an amazing stay. To the afternoon tea on arrival, to the pawsome Prosecco, to room service which includes a breakfast sausage for the dogs.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, given the location combined with the luxury hotel. It is a stay not to be missed.

This is a fantastic hotel where you can take your fur babies and there is no compromise on luxury or food required for the humans. The rooms and grounds are amazing and the food is delicious, never had a bad experience here!

Broadoaks is a stunning hotel in the Lake District as well as being super dog friendly. They even have their own dog walking field round the back of the property which is great for the evenings for our Labrador and not forgetting the dedicated ‘pooch droppings’ bins. Highly recommend

My husband & I got married at Broadoaks in December 2020. The team facilitated us bringing our two border collies to the ceremony with us, it was amazing! They were then nice and cosy in the Broadoaks kennels for the evening while we celebrated.

The hotel have been so accommodating for our wedding. We have 3 dogs and it wasn’t even a problem for them to take our booking! It is really hard to find hotels when you have 3 dogs and this made our wedding planning so much easier.

We stayed for a night with our 2 dogs (labrador and beagle) and they were very accommodating. We booked ahead to eat in the bar with the dogs and there were even treats for the dogs in the room when we arrived. Lovely grounds to walk the dogs in too.

Got married here nearly 2 weeks ago. Broadoaks were absolutely fantastic with everything including our dogs. As we had 48hr exclusive hire and 5 small dogs, they were very accommodating in the amount of freedom they had around the house and the grounds. Our parents were jealous they couldn't have dogs at their wedding 30 years ago- was amazing to have our dogs there as they're a big part of our family.

We had 5 (yes FIVE) dogs at my daughters wedding, two Mini Schnauzers from the brides Mum & Dad (they even walked down the aisle at the start if proceedings), their Mimi Schnauzer brother and sister from the grooms Mum & Dad and a ShihTzu from the maid of honour. They were allowed unparalleled freedom and welcomed by guest and staff alike, having them all present made a wonderful day EXTRA SPECIAL.

When we got married we needed our venue to be two things: gay friendly and dog friendly. Broadoaks Country House was both in abundance and absolutely perfect. They couldn’t have been more welcoming to us and our two Springer spaniels. Everything from the personalised welcome pack for the dogs, with treats and a welcome note, to the menu for room service doggy dinner. It was perfect and special. We made good use of the big dog walking field behind the hotel and checked out the spacious kennels and dog wash area although we didn’t need to use them. Our wedding was amazing and we’ve been back to visit as often as possible since, every time with dogs in tow.

When me and my wife here to get married they had amazing facilities for the dogs, they were far enough away to not be a nightmare (two very boisterous Border Collies) and close enough so we could see them and interact with them, they had an excellent enclosed field to be able walk them, couldn’t fault the staff with them either. Stayed here with our dog a few months ago for 2 nights. The hotel is lovely, excellent dog friendly rooms and our dog was spoilt for choice with the doggy menu and lovely walks nearby. A brilliant weekend getaway.

Pets really get the V.I.P. treatment at Broadoaks. They enjoy deluxe doggie dining, complimentary treats and have access to a fabulous dog walking field. You only have to see the social media posts from Broadoaks which regularly feature the hotel’s own dogs or their guests to see how much dogs are welcome.

We got married here, Winston, our cocker spaniel was treated like a king - with his doggie treats, breakfast and absolute friendly attitude from all the staff, he is one of our family - and broadoaks actually made it feel that way! We've stayed here several times and our boy Arch is always very well looked after, bowls and treats provided in the room and his meals prepared fresh and delivered to the room still warm. Dogs aren't normally permitted in the restaurant but our favourite room is the beautiful Music Room, where he's always allowed. We got married here in October 2020, and as we had exclusive use of the hotel, both Arch and our other family dog were allowed in all communal rooms including the restaurant.
We've stayed in several dog friendly hotels, which often provide a token treat, but never found anywhere where our furball gets spoilt as much as we do.
Five stars isn't enough, we can't wait to go back.

As a two legged creature, I was treated very well - friendly staff, superb food, impressive rooms - great hotel and surroundings.
For my four legged boy, he couldn't have been treated any better. Made to feel at home - he only had a bit of grump on the way home!
