We started Agility with our dog, Walter, last year when he was only a few months old. His progress is unbelievable and it's thanks to Gee and Beth who are absolute stars. They always have good advice, are very professional and make the training fun not just for our dogs but for us humans as well.

I have always found Barkley’s training classes to be very organised, engaging and insightful. The trainers are incredibly knowledgable and even though it has been a group setting, they have always made the time to speak to and review everyone’s progress independently which made me feel very valued and supported when working with my dog. As a whole the Barkely’s team have made such a valuable impression on the wellbeing of both my dog and me- thank you 😊

We started Barkleys with our nervous German Shepherd puppy and she has absolutely loved it. Beth has been amazing and is so knowledgeable & always has the time to help you, even outside of the training room. Our puppy has come such a long way in 4 weeks and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without Barkleys Dog Training Academy. Thank you once again!

and caring people who provide a fun and exciting opportunity for our little fluff ball.
We have been using Barkleys services from recall to doggy daycare for well over 2 years and, really can’t find fault. Our fluff ball gets excited in the car once he realises we are heading for Barkleys! Keep up the great work you all do 🐶🐶

We took our spaniel Chester earlier this year for training. The staff there are brilliant and give you lots of guidance. Chester did really well. My sons dog also goes to daycare and she’ loves it. Highly recommend.

As a loving owner of my puppy Mace, we BOTH absolutely love Barkleys- the various different training courses and interactive classes are amazing. Barkleys really do tailor to any needs of each pooch. My rescue dog has been coming to day care and has really improved in his confidence. The staff are lovely and friendly. My dog also does agility training there and he has come on so much with his recall. He's such a happy confident dog who can have off lead walks and it's down to them.

Barkleys has helped me with Lily (my exceptionally smart, stubborn and energetic Doxie) throughout months and have constantly offered support and advice well after our sessions had ended. Lily absolutely loves the team, and always enjoys herself whenever we visit, be it for the occasional puppy playgroup or a session of learning. All of the staff members are so knowledgeable and welcoming and I couldn't recommend them enough.

My dog, Buddy, and I have been going to agility classes for 7 months, with Beth, our trainer, and Abbie helping. We both love it. We get expert training with lots of advice and encouragement. The progress Buddy has made is amazing . I would definitely recommend Barkleys if you are considering any form of dog training.

Georgina our trainer was really friendly and made the training real fun for all the pups who attended the session.
She explained clearly how to get the best out of our pups and how best to keep their attention.
The training started on time every time and the training arena was clean and spacious. They also provided some props like the mat, extra long training lead and toys.
Welcome packs and photo certificates were a real nice touch along with Abbie who support Georgina throughout the session.
It was clear that Georgina and Abbie have a passion for what they do and welcome every dog that walks through their dogs.
Just an overall great place to go to learn and play.

Mika has had 1:1 training at Barkleys Training Academy. We had an experienced and talented trainer in Beth. She was kind and patient with us all, and we all learnt lots. We use the techniques daily and everyone always comments on how well behaved Mika is for a 9 month old shepsky puppy.

Wow! What an amazing team they really are. Duke has the best time ever with all of his friends and always came home shattered :). They team are so caring towards the dogs and want to make there time at daycare the best it can possibly be. The activities they provide for the pups is amazing and the fact the owners join in is just magical. It is like my child has gone to nursery they just make it so amazing! From swimming in pools in the heat and an air conditioned room for the pups, to having a sleeping area for napping and also lots of things to do it’s just one amazing place!

Their dog training academy is outstanding. I've had all 3 of my dogs attend their classes and workshops and not only did they love it, but I did too. The classes are perfect for newbies and those mroe seasoned dog owners. 5 stars isn't enough. I've been to other facilities in Wakefield and Leeds who couldn't even fasten Beth's laces.

The staff here genuinely love dogs and make you feel so comfortable to be in the training environment. Barkley’s training academy has been invaluable to us as first time dog owners. They were able to provide us with one-to-one support during lock down, which was brilliant for our pup. Since ‘graduating’ from puppy skool, we have attended various other events like recall training and our next course is basic agility. To be able to keep developing our skills as owners and build our bond with our dog has been amazing. The trainers at Barkley’s are very approachable before, during and after each course which has been reassuring and a real strength of this training academy. As they care about the training they deliver and want you & your dog to succeed. Communication is great, the information prior to any training is detailed and expectations/ goals clearly set out. They are always quick to reply to any queries or requests. The events are well run and Barkley’s staff create a welcome environment to make both dog & owners comfortable.
