Whilst I have not used the services of Among The Trees Dog Walking I have met Ellie on a few occasions while walking my own dog. Ellie is amazing. Every walk is given great thought and time to plan. Itās the small things that make her stand out. She has walked mine since the boys were puppies. They are now 3 years old. She takes them every year on an adventure on their birthday. Something new every time. Ellie takes them to different places to mentally work them not just physically. The dogs pay testimonial to how much they love her. In times of emergency she will go out of her way to help look after the gang. The care knowledge and compassion is outstanding. Ellie from Among The Trees Dog Walking was our dog walker for a number of years - she was absolutely fantastic with all our dogs, including our foster dogs. She kept us up to date with how the dogs were, sent photos etc and she couldn't do enough to help us out if we needed it. We felt so confident knowing our dogs were with her. Since we retired, we have kept in contact with Ellie, and still get regular updates from Among the Trees Dog Walking. She has an excellent reputation within our town & surrounding areas because of her love and care for the dogs she walks, but also other dogs who are in need. She definitely deserves this award!

Ellie and Jess are simply amazing.
I use Ellie and have done from when she first started the business after my previous dog walker retired.
From the very first day of meeting, her enthusiasm and professionalism shone through. What has become even more evident is her genuine love and affection for not only my dog, but all the dogs in her care. You can tell, we are not simply clients to Ellie we are friends and our dog is an extension of her doggy family. I work full time and knowing my girl is in very capable hands is a weight off my mind. To say my dog loves her is an understatement. I have the most velcro of velcro dogs who will not walk with many people (including my husband) she was even on occasions reluctant to leave me if working from home to go out with my previous dog walker who was excellent, but i have never seen any of that with Ellie, which speak Volumes...believe me. She happily skips off for a time full of fun and adventure as documented by the photo updates I get, which i love, not only an exceptional dog walk but a very talented photographer too!!
On these hot hot days, her number 1 priority is dog welfare, getting up early to walk dogs when its not only more comfortable but safe. Given I am often in the office, on these hot days when she goes out early, Ellie will take my girl home with her to spend time at her house with her dogs (whome she loves) and drops her off home just priority to me getting home....all because she cares and doesn't want her left at home on a hot day, its not about the money as she doesn't charge anymore for this, its love!
I thank my lucy stars for finding Ellie and inviting her into our family to look after a very important family member.
If anyone deserves this, it is 100% and more Ellie and Amoung the Trees.
Jess who recently joined the business is another true ambassador of the business. I know Ellie was very conscientious about trying to find someone like her, who shares the same values to truly represent the business and she could not have found a better person. Jess has covered for Ellie during holidays and I know that again my girl is not only in safe, but caring hands.
I look forward to seeing how this lovely local business develops and grows, which I know will be done sympathetically.
