The Old Cottage

Located in the village centre, and with its warm pine furnishings located throughout, the one bedroom property is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing weekend around the North York Moors National Park. The entrance to the cottage is via an alleyway off the High Street, and guests will find that they won’t have to go far into the property to prepare a meal or take a break with a cup of tea, as the first room you see is the kitchen/diner. On the next floor is the sitting room, where holidaymakers can relax in one of the comfortable armchairs and watch TV or a DVD. Alternatively, there are plenty of good books to choose from. Also on the first floor is the shower room, which features a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. The property’s sole bedroom is located on the second floor, and guests are guaranteed a good night’s sleep in the double bed, with views over Cowbar Nabb. Guests are advised that a well-behaved dog is welcome. The Old Cottage is perfectly positioned within the local area, with a short walk to the busy village centre’s pubs, shops and restaurants. While guests only have to walk a few steps to take in the view of the bridge and Roxby Beck. The picturesque harbour and beach are also a short distance away. Fans of the countryside won’t have to go far to experience beautiful scenery and the many fabulous activities as the property is within the North York Moors National Park. The area has so much worth exploring, and many myths and legends that have helped shape what it is today. Why not take a walk with giants in East Barnby, or why not visit Beggars Bridge in Glaisdale?
