Hafan Bach

The perfect base for your Welsh adventure.

Hafan Bach is a terrace cottage in the historic township of Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire. 

Many guests first comment is that the cottage is much larger than expected. We spent 18 months lovingly renovating Hafan Bach and tried to keep as many original features as possible. 

Hafan Bach sleeps 5, in a 1 king size bedroom with large wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair, TV, bedside tables and lamps. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail, rocking chair, bedside tables and lamps. Bedroom 3 has a single bed, chest of drawers, chair, bedside table and lamp. There is also a shower room upstairs. 

The living room is cosy and relaxing with 2 leather sofas, nest of tables, welsh dresser with selection of games, electric wood burner effect fire, TV with firestick, DVD player and selection of DVDs. 

The large open plan kitchen diner has a double range cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. We hope we have thought of everything you may need in terms of utensils etc but please feel free to message and check. 

French doors open out from the kitchen diner into the beautiful, fully enclosed garden with outdoor dining area and under cover gas BBQ. 

There is also a family bathroom downstairs which has a full size bath with shower over. 

Hafan Bach is a comfortable and relaxing base for your Welsh adventure, central to Gower, Brecon bacons and Tenby, fantastic walking and cycling. 

Shops, cafes, pubs and take aways within easy walking distance. Parc Y Bocs farm shop is a must visit, the home of Burns dog food, with dog adventure parks and cafe serving lovely lunches and of course dog friendly. 

Pembrey country park and stunning sandy beaches are a short drive away as are Ffos las racecourse, Pembrey Motor Circuit and Glyn Abbey Golf course. Historic Market town of Carmarthen is just 20mins drive.
