Our therapists train for 2 years in Clinical Canine Massage Therapy with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre Ltd, to provide rehabilitation for muscular injuries that owners commonly see as slowing down, lameness, stiffness and getting old before their time. Clinical canine massage therapy and is used very successfully to provide chronic pain management for dogs with arthritis, hip dysplasia, spondylosis and other orthopaedic conditions, including post operative care for cruciate ligament surgery.
Therapists utilise a blend of Sports, Swedish, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release, both the direct and indirect approach, and importantly the Lenton Method of Clinical Canine Massage which is being studied by Winchester University and Sparsholt University Centre in the worlds first clinical trials on canine massage therapy.
