Why do I have to pay to join Dogfriendly?

Well firstly you don’t have to pay. You can join as a Guest Member which is totally free of charge and this will give you access to search the places to stay database.  You can search this database by County.  We charge for full membership because we have a small team at Dogfriendly who telephone every single venue listed on our database at least once a year to ensure that they are still dogfriendly – we complete a detailed questionaire during this conversation.  We even call the councils to ask about their beaches.  As you can imagine, this does take a long time and therefore costs money, so to cover these costs we do charge for membership.  The ongoing £3.99 per quarter is for the Out and About magazine and there is no extra charge for postage.  You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing me at steve@dogfriendly.co.uk
